A party has confirmed what the rumor mill has been whispering for weeks: Jennifer Hudson is having a baby.
 
The Chicago Tribune reports that J. Hud held a small baby shower in downtown Chicago this weekend.
 
“It was a...quiet gathering of friends and mostly family,” said actress-singer Felicia Fields. “They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet.”
 
This will be the first child for Jen and her fiancé, David “Punk” Otunga. Jen’s manager and publicist have been denying that the singer is pregnant. Of course, now that the cat is out of the bag, the question on everyone’s mind is whether J. Hud and Punk will be having a boy or a girl.
 
“They don’t know,” Felicia said.  She noted that the couple mostly received yellow gifts at the shower.
