Lance Gross is walking down the aisle before his fiancée Eva Marcille…kind of.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has just signed on to star in an untitled wedding project for Fox Searchlight.
 
Lance will play the groom, and he’s joining cast mates Forrest Whitaker, America Ferrara and Carlos Mencia on the film. The “Ugly Betty” star has been pegged as his lucky bride-to-be.
 
The film will be all about the comedic culture clash between two families (one Black and the other Latino) who are trying to plan a wedding for the happy couple in just two short weeks.
 
Shooting for the movie began Monday, but there is no word on a prospective release date yet.
 
We're sure working on the project will be good practice for Lance, who is planning his own real-life nuptials with Eva.
