‘Cleveland’ rocks!
Just when we thought there were no more Black shows on network TV, FOX is rolling out “The Cleveland Show,” a spin-off of "Family Guy."
And if you’re like us, you can’t wait to see what Peter Griffin’s old pal has in store for viewers. Thankfully, the network he released an official trailer for the show, which seems to follow a similar casting format as the show it was spawned from.
The show centers on Cleveland Brown and his blended family with new wife Donna (voiced by Sanaa Lathan). And Kanye West will be making appearances on the show as Kenny West. But what would any Seth McFarlane show be without a bratty baby?
Apparently, the execs at FOX are banking on this being a hit because the show has reportedly already been ordered for a second season!
By the way, FOX is also debuting another Black sitcom called “Brothers” this fall. The show stars ex-NFL player Michael Strahan, Darryl Mitchell, CCH Pounder and Carl Weathers.
