No substance to Whitney interviews

    Tue, 06/09/2009 - 10:28 — Anonymous

Ever since Whitney Houston announced that she’ll be dropping an album in September, media outlets have been clamoring for a chat with her.  The diva is considering interviews, but only on one condition: Don’t ask her about drugs.

    According to the
New York Daily News, a coveted chat with the diva will only go to the reporters willing to play by her rules.

“They [Whitney’s handlers] only want to let her talk to journalists who’ll agree not to ask about her substance abuse,” a source close to Whitney told the Daily News.

This especially goes for morning shows that are trying to get Whitney to perform live for their viewers.

“The deal is, if they want her, then Matt Lauer, Diane Sawyer or whoever isn’t supposed to ask her tough questions,” said the insider.

Still, one of Whitney’s reps said that no promotional plans have been hammered down just yet, so there’s no need to set your TiVo.  But, they didn’t dispute the rumored rule.

Anyway, we understand Whitney’s decision. Who wouldn’t want to avoid another “crack is wack” moment?

Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it.
