After nearly two years of marriage, Usher is calling for a divorce from his estranged wife, Tameka Foster.
 
According to the New York Daily News, Usher filed divorce papers in Atlanta Superior Court on Friday, June 12. Records posted to the courts Web site did not give any details on why Usher wants a divorce.
 
Now, Tameka is reportedly gearing up for a court battle. According to E! Online, she hired attorney Randy Kessler to squash any rumblings that infidelity is at the root of the split.
 
"She's a great mom," he said. "She's been a loyal wife. She's trying her best to take the high road and not attack him."
 
Thankfully things haven’t gotten nasty since neither Usher nor Tameka has uttered, blogged or tweeted an unkind word about the other since the split was announced.
 
The couple married in a lavish wedding back in August of 2007, and they have two children together, 18-month-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond.  Tameka also has three other children from previous relationships.
