Usher wants a paternity test

    Thu, 07/02/2009 - 10:23 — Anonymous

Are we going to have to see Usher on “Maury?!”  The singer reportedly wants a paternity test for his youngest son.

With $80 million at stake, things in Usher’s divorce from estranged wife Tameka Foster are really getting nasty. According to the National Enquirer, Usher doubts that his 6-month-old son Naviyd actually belongs to him.

“The first thing Usher said was, ‘How did that happen?’—because he was gone a lot, and their sex life was very, very limited,” a friend of Usher’s told the Enquirer. “He’s determined to get truthful answers.”

Naviyd was born in December while the two were supposedly separated. Adding to Usher’s doubt is word from friends that Tameka “got with another man” when their marriage became rocky. But the former stylist insists that Naviyd is Usher’s son.

“She says that although they weren’t spending that much time together, they did get together for one night of passion. And that’s when she got pregnant,” the source said. They added that Tameka is “going to fight for what she thinks she should have.”

E! Online reports that she has filed new court papers stating that she and Usher weren’t separated in July 2008. Tameka also claims that she and Usher were “intimately together” less than a week before he filed for divorce.

“[She] had every reason to believe her marriage was intact,” her attorney said in the filing.

But since the couple is definitely on the outs, Tameka wants Usher to pay for all her legal fees in their divorce, and she wants to make sure that he continues to take care of her and their sons financially.

Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it.
