The Drug Enforcement Agency is getting involved with the investigation into Michael Jackson’s death.

The Associated Press reports that police asked the DEA to help them look into the circumstances surrounding the entertainer’s death as allegations of his possible drug abuse continued to surface.  The Los Angeles Police Department is trying to sniff out the source of his supply.
 
Supposedly, Michael had been taking painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants for years.  Uri Geller, one of his friends, said that many of those in the singer’s circle kept Michael supplying with prescription drugs.
 
While Uri opted not to enable Michael’s habit, others were more than willing to feed it. "When Michael asked for something, he got it. This was the great tragedy," he told the AP.
 
According to TMZ.com, Michael also used a bunch of fake names to obtain different medications.  Omar Arnold and Jack London were just two of the aliases that he used to get his hands on drugs like Demerol.
 
And Propofol, a strong anthestic, was reportedly found in Michael’s home after his death. Docotrs told TMZ that there was no reason he should have had it in his possession because the drug is typically used to put people to sleep before surgery, and it’s given to patients by through an IV.
