Jacksons attempted interventions

    Tue, 07/14/2009 - 12:13 — Anonymous

Michael Jackson’s family tried to stage interventions in efforts to save his life.

We’re told that Joe and Katherine Jackson went to Michael’s home about two or three months ago (while he was with Dr. Tohme). They had not been been able to reach their son, partly because of his grueling practice schedule for his shows at London’s O2 Arena, and they were worried about what was going on with him.

The family thought he may have been on drugs, but their attempts to set up an intervention weren’t successful.

Others claim that this was not the Jacksons’ first attempt to speak to Michael on his suspected substance abuse. According to People, they also tried to confront him about it in 2006, too.

Contrary to other reports, sources told S2S that there was no intervention in 2007; Janet was worried that he was on dugs at the time, although he really wasn’t. Concert promoter Leonard Rowe said he was part of the supposed intervention, but we hear that was actually a meeting to talk about the possibility of doing a family tour, which Michael declined.
