Chris Brown and Rihanna both checked into a New York hotel this weekend, but was it a clandestine meeting or just coincidence?
 
Sources claim that the two booked separate rooms at the Trump International Hotel & Tower on Friday, according to the New York Post. Although the two were never spotted together publically, the former couple stayed at the hotel all weekend.
 
On Friday, Chris was seen leaving the hotel and heading to the movies with two friends around 7 p.m. Rihanna was spotted two hours later at the Tony Philippe restaurant.
 
Reportedly, Breezy also went to visit an old friend in Harlem on Sunday night. While he was gone, Rihanna checked out of Trump Tower. Soon after Chris returned, he checked out too, and one of his people told the Post was because “[Rihanna] checked in.”
 
Neither of the entertainers had any engagements that would have brought them to New York this weekend, but Rihanna has been looking for home in the city.
 
Chris and Rihanna haven’t been seen together since just before their altercation on February 8. Since then he’s been ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from her as part of his plea deal in that case.
