Kelly Rowland’s becoming a ‘Starmaker'
Kelly Rowland did such a good job hosting and judging Bravo’s “The Fashion Show” that she’s going to give Diddy a hand.
Kelly will be helping the hip-hop mogul pick out the next big Bad Boy star by making an appearance on his next reality series “Starmaker.” She’ll serve as one of the guest judges on the show, but there’s no word on when her episode will air.
Other artists making a cameo on the judge’s panel include Nicole Scherzinger, Lady Gaga and Pete Wentz. And expect to see Ms. Boom Kack herself, Laurie Ann Gibson, taking an active role in teaching and judging all the contestants.
As far as we can tell, “Starmaker” seems to be a mix between “American Idol” and “Making The Band.” Fourteen singers will go head to head on stage (and in a house) for a shot at stardom. With a Bad Boy recording contract at stake, you know the competition is going to be tough.
“Starmaker” premieres August 16 on MTV at 10 p.m. EST. To catch a sneak peek of the show, check out the video below.
