Macy, Mya to take a twirl
The new cast of "Dancing With the Stars" has finally been announced.
ABC revealed that singers Macy Gray and Mya will be taking to the ballroom floor this season. ESPN radio host and former NFL player Michael Irvin has been drafted for the show too.
Also making their way around the parkay this season will be Debi Mazar of HBO’s “Entourage,” Melissa Joan Hart, Mark Dacascos and Donny Osmond, whose sister Marie has competed for the mirror ball before.
Today’s announcement puts rumors that Paula Abdul, fresh off of quitting “American Idol,” might join the cast this season.
And it had previously been reported that La Toya Jackson was offered a spot on this season’s roster, but it looks like she decided to sit this one out. Maybe next time, La Toya?
In the meantime, we’ll save our speculation on each of the competitors’ talent until after we’ve seen the season premiere of “Dancing With the Stars,” which starts September 21 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
