Tyra Banks is leaving her wigs and weaves in the dressing room for her talk show next season.

Tyra announced yesterday that she’ll be rocking her natural hair for the season premiere of “The Tyra Banks Show” on September 8, declaring it Natural Real Hair Day.

“This season on ‘The Tyra Show’ we’re taking it to the next level and getting more real than ever before by encouraging women everywhere to own and rock what they’ve got and be proud,” she said in a statement. “We welcome everyone to go natural with me!”

But this Although, she’s never been afraid to toss on a lace front or sew in some tracks, this wouldn’t be the first time that Tyra has gone au naturale on her set. A few months back she did a show about the concept of “good hair.” while rocking a head full of cornrows.
