Chris Brown regains his memory

So, Chris Brown may have just used a bad choice of words when he said he didn’t recall what happened during his fight with Rihanna.

The singer released a statement insisting that he “just misspoke” in a clip from his interview on “Larry King Live.” He said he made the mistake after being asked several times whether he remembered hitting his ex-girlfriend on February 8. When he said he didn’t people couldn’t believe it, but Chris said they’ve been given the wrong impression based on a short clip.

"That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times—and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said," Chris clarified.

Since the clip inspiring shock and awe was released, Chris has spoken about other unreleased parts other of the sit-down as proof he didn’t just black out during the fight.

"Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur,” He added. “And yes, I still can't believe it happened because it is not me or who I am, nor is what happened like anything I have ever done before.”

To see Chris’ full interview, tune into “Larry King Live” on CNN Wednesday night at 9 p.m. EST.
