One of Tyra Banks’ former assistants is suing the model-turned-media-mogul for back pay.
 
TMZ.com reports that Richard Thomas filed a small claims suit in Los Angeles county, charging that she still owes him $5,820. The requested amount covers the cost of services he “rendered as assistant and an advisor.” It’s not clear how much she owes him for each position.
 
However, there is a big problem with Richard’s case because legal papers state that he was required to request pay from Tyra before he filed his suit. But, as we see, the former gofer went ahead with the suit anyway, offering, “I have not been able to catch [Tyra] while she is in.”
 
Tyra has not commented on the suit at this time.
