Kim Zolciak of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” said Nene Leakes is claiming she penned “Tardy For the Party.”
 
It seems that wherever the housewives go, drama is sure to follow. Kim, who just redeemed her singing career with “Tardy For the Party,” told MTV News Thursday night that she heard Nene was taking credit for the song.
 
Flabergasted, she explained that her younger daughter was the one to write that song with her music teacher. “I’m a little bit disturbed that Nene just claimed it was her song,” she said on the red carpet for VH1 Divas.
 
But that didn’t put a complete damper on Kim’s night since she found out that the single ranked in the Top 10 Dance songs on iTunes.
 

 
Never one to let a rumor slide, Nene nipped Kim’s claims in the bud.
“I don’t know why there’s always, like, lies,” she exclaimed. The reality star clarified that she never claimed credit for the lyrics, she did say she was the first one to figure out that the song was hot.
