Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom are planning to tie the knot this weekend.
 
Several sources have told Usmagazine.com that the couple will get married on Sunday, September 27, at the Los Angeles area home of music manager Irving Azoff.
 
This wedding will seal what has by many accounts been a whirlwind romance. Khloé and Lamar, who have only been dating for about a month, met at a party in L.A. last month. Shortly after that he had met her family, and news of their impending nuptials broke Friday.
 
"Khloe and Lamar want to get married before Lamar has to go away for training, and the [basketball] season starts up," a source close to the couple told Us. “They are hoping to pull together a wedding…so they can get married and have time for a honeymoon.”
 
Lamar is a forward for the Los Angeles Lakers and the team will be playing a preseason game on October 7. But before you start looking to blame Khloe for their dash to the altar, TMZ.com reports that Lamar was the one in a hurry to put a ring on it.
 
And all of Lamar’s teammates, including Kobe Bryant, have been invited to share in the couple’s special day. According to TMZ, the coaches also received invites, but there is no word on who has RSVPd yet.
