Drake releases video for 'Forever'
The video for "Forever," one of the hottest collaborations of the year, has been released.
Drake has been blazing the charts, making the summer even hotter and he is not taking a break during the fall. The rapper and vocalist has teamed up with other top industry acts Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, and Eminem to produce on of the hottest collaborations this year, “Forever.”
The video is already generating much buzz. Unlike most hip hop videos it lacks the club scene, flashy jewelry and cars and has the more rapper-on-the-come-up and I’ve-made-it feel which coincides with the footage of Cleveland Cavaliers’ star player, photoggraphs from Lebron James’ rise to fame are in the video. Eminem’s part looks like it could have came out of the movie 8 Mile. There also are no simply clad women in the video and the only females to be seen appear beside Lil’ Wayne while he is performing his verse. Shocking?
The song will be on the soundtrack to More Than A Game, the film which chronicles the life of LeBron James and his long time friends and coach dedication that led to his rise of fame in the basketball world. This will not be the only big single on the soundtrack. Other artists including Jay-Z, Soulja Boy Tell‘Em, Mary J. Blidge, Chris Brown, Tyrese and more are featured on the album.
The soundtrack for More Than A Game will be released on September 29, but the movie hits theaters on October 2.
