During the aftermath of Kanye West's infamous VMA outburst, his lawyer has quitely kept him out of court for a little while longer.
 
TMZ.com reports that last Friday the rapper’s lawyer requested a delay for a pre-trial hearing in his camera smashing case, which had been set for this month. The judge approved the request and pushed the court date back to October 23.
 
Kanye had been slapped with misdemeanor charges of vandalism, theft and battery following an incident last September where he broke the light on TMZ photographer’s camera
