Omarion creates new label
Omarion has built himself a new label home through EMI Label Services.
O said he was pursuing other opportunities when parted ways with Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money last month. Now, we’ve learned that the “Touch” inked a deal with EMI to create his own imprint, Starworld Entertainment.
The label’s first release will be Omarion’s forthcoming studio album titled Ollusion, which drops on November 24. Fans have already heard the lead single, “I Get It In,” when it leaked last month, but it will officially hit the airwaves on October 5.
Omarion hooked up with Tank to produce the single and he enlisted Gucci Mane for a guest appearance on the track.
"My style has evolved so much on this album. I was able to express truly who I am from a creative and artistic standpoint, which allowed me to share a personal side of myself with my fans through my music. This is my masterpiece and I can't wait for the world to hear my new album," Omarion said. "I am very excited about my new home at EMI and know that this is the perfect opportunity for me to return to the charts."
And in order to promote his newest project, the singer will be going on a nationwide radio tour that also starts in October.
