Ciara has taken a fantasy ride all the way to Los Angeles where she’s prepping a new album with Tricky Stewart and The Dream.
 
Fantasy Ride just dropped a few months ago, but CiCi is already in the studio working on the as-yet untitled project, Tricky told Rap-Up.com. According to him, he and The Dream are doing her whole album. The two of them did the singles “High Price” and “Like A Surgeon” for her current album.
 
That’s right in line with news S2S heard from The Dream during BET Awards weekend. “I just picked up Ciara's whole album, and I'm looking forward to doing that,” he dished during a pre-party for the event. “Like, I'd rather do 12 records than just one or two.”
 
Now, Tricky said, the trio is now 14 tracks deep into Ciara’s new album.
 
“Right now, she’s on her grind,” Tricky said of the singer, “coming back, trying to make a better album than she made last time and get back to that mark where everybody knew that she was in the top tier of the female business.”
 
In fact, CiCi is so dedicated to working on the album that she’s moved out to Los Angeles to be near the creative team and the studio. The album will still feature tracks that fans can dance to but, but there won’t be as many collaborations on this CD.
 
“This album we wanted to take a few steps back and make it more about her, so the only feature is Dream. But the features that we do on this  record will be remixes,” Tricky said. He added that their duet would be on a song called “Speechless, “ which is a personal favorite of his. He’s also loving the track “Gifted.”
 
Finally, the producer said that Ciara’s project could be coming out as soon as the end of 2009, but that it’s more likely to be a 2010 release.
