There are new details on the fight that killed AJ Jewell, Kandi Burruss’ ex-fiance last weekend.
 
Original reports made it seem that the AJ, who many recognize from Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” had actually been beaten to death by his attacker. However, TMZ.com found out that AJ was actually up and walking around after his alleged run-in with suspect Fredrick Richardson.
 
Witnesses backed that up by telling cops that AJ was not rushed to the emergency room by an ambulance, rather he just caught a ride to the hospital with a friend.
 
Now, medical examiners are looking at the extent of AJ’s resulting injuries to see if those were the cause of his death.
 
In the meantime, Fredrick is being held without bail on charges of voluntary manslaughter. He’s scheduled to be back in court on October 20.
