Oprah sued by former employee

A former employee of Oprah Winfrey is taking the daytime TV diva to court.

Former flight attendant Corrine Gehris is seeking more than $316,000 over allegations that she had sex with pilot Terry Pansing on Oprah’s jet while the TV host and several passengers were sleeping onboard. The
Daily Mail reports that the Corrine and Terry were both discharged in July as a result of those accusations.

Both Corrine and Terry said the charges weren’t true, and they each passed a lie detector test later on to prove it. She said Oprah had to know the claims were “obviously false” since the plane had landed to refuel during the alleged “mile-high” encounter.

Corrine said that Oprah’s goddaughter Kirby Bumpus (Gayle King’s dayghter) and flight attendant Myron Gooch made up the steamy story up.  Now she’s seeking damages from Kirby, Myron and Harpo Productions.

The former flight attendant said that Myron created the rumor over a workplace dispute.
