‘Dancing With the Stars’ recap: October 13 results
One dancer lost his fight for the mirrorball on last night’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”
Tuesday night it was time to see another couple twirl their way off the parkay “Dancing With the Stars.” With no end of discouraging critiques stacking up against them, courtesy of judge Len Goodman, we wondered how Mya and her partner Dmitry Chaplin would fair.
Thankfully, Mya fans could breathe a sigh of relief as the couple, who closed out Monday’s show, was the first one to be saved from elimination.
In the end, gentle giant Chuck Lidell and fallen favorite Aaron Carter were the last to at risk of being kicked out of the competition.
We always enjoy watching Chuck get out on the floor simply because we know he’s trying his best, even if he doesn’t always quite get the steps. When asked, Len said he thought that Aaron was better equipped to meet next week’s challenge of learning two dances.
America sided with Len on this one, and Chuck was chucked from “Dancing With the Stars.” But we were glad to see that he was a good sport about leaving the dance floor. “I had fun, we had a good time,” Chuck said with a laugh. “It’s difficult. It’s hard to do, but we made a shot at it.”
