Queen Latifah, Mary and Naomi Rock!
If you're Black and even a little fab, you were probably at the 4th Annual Black Girls Rock! Awards, which went down last Saturday at the New York Times Center in New York. The event supports the organization, which charges at-risk young women of color to analyze the way that they are portrayed in mainstream media.
Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King hosted the ceremony, while Naomi Campbell, Queen Latifah, Janelle Monae, Mary J. Blige, Raven Symoné and Sonia Sancheze were honored. Guys like Anthony Hamilton, who brought his little son, and Andre Harrell came out to support. Check out the pics:
