Rihanna returns with new single

Rihanna is playing a dangerous game in her new single, which hit the  ’Net today.

“Russian Roulette” is the first solo single we’ve heard from Rihanna since February, and it’s evident that she’s back with a darker, edgier sound.  It’s the first single off her upcoming album, Rated R, which drops on November 23.

The mid-tempo tune details the events leading up to a game of Russian roulette and the emotions that surge through Rihanna right before she pulls the trigger. We’ll assume that she survives the game.

The track was produced by Tricky Stewart, who also did “Umbrella,” but Ne-Yo wrote the song. And according to him, she’s getting ready to bring it with Rated R!

"I've heard a good majority of the album...world, get ready. That's all I'm going to say: World, get ready,” Ne-Yo, told MTV News. "The best and safest way I can say this it that Rihanna has some stuff to say and she's going to say it, and she ain't going to make no apologies for it."
