Alicia Keys pushes album back

Alicia Keys has become to the latest artist to push her album back.
 
While promo shots for The Element of Freedom have just hit the ’Net, the singer announced via that her new album has been put on hold for two more weeks.
 
“Luv having the freedom to create beautiful music, so I'm pushing the album back to DEC 15th. So many more amazing song,” Alicia tweeted this weekend. “In the studio mixing 2 more songs I cant for you to hear.”

 
The Element of Freedom had been slated to drop on December 1, but this new release date coincides with World AIDS Day.
 
There is speculation that the album was nudged back because the lead single, “Doesn’t Mean A Thing,” hasn’t done as well as projected.  If you haven’t heard the song, check out the video below.
