Jackson kids get help

LaToya Jackson has revealed that her brother's kids are all in therapy to cope with their dad's sudden death.

Losing a parent is always hard especially when you’re as young as Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket Jackson. Their aunt La Toya told The Mirror that the kids are having a little difficulty coping with MJ’s loss, so they’re all in therapy.

LaToya reports that Prince Michael, the eldest child, has emotionally closed himself off in regards to his father’s death.

“Prince just doesn’t want to speak about it. He won’t even watch the DVDs – he just walks right past the TV. It’s too soon, too touching. I do worry about him very much,” she said. “They all go to therapy and I truly hope Prince especially will be able to open up.”

Meanwhile, Blanket has been crying for extended periods of time because he can’t understand that he’ll never be able to see Michael again.

“And Blanket is just a very sad, shy little boy,” said LaToya. “It’s so painful for him. No one can bring his daddy back and it hurts so much.”

Although the family is worried about the boys, it seems that Paris is allowing herself grieve. Each of the children went back to the last home they shared with Michael and took whatever they wanted. Paris scooped everything with his face on it, and her room is wallpapered with his images.

“Paris thinks and talks about her father all the time. She’s doing very well, writes a lot and she wears his shirts every day. They still smell of him and it helps her feel close to him,” La Toya shared.

But easing them through this difficult time is the fact that the kids have been able to keep up with their routine because the Jacksons are trying to raise them as Michael would have wanted.
