‘Browns’ cleared for syndication
A lot more people are about to meet Brown and his brood when Tyler Perry’s second hit sitcom goes into syndication next year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Meet the Browns” has been approved for syndication. Starting in September, the sitcom will be broadcast to 70% of U.S. through groups like Fox, Tribune, CBS and Cox.
Syndication for “Meet the Browns,” currently the #1 sitcom on TBS, has been lightning-quick at about 15 months after the series’ premiere. Tyler’s flagship sitcom, “House of Payne,” has also been a hit for the entertainment mogul.
