Lupe Fiasco heads to the History Channel
Soon you’ll be able to catch hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco on the History Channel.
Usually seen on MTV, Lupe taking a short break to drop some knowledge. HipHopDX.com reports that the artist will be featured in a new History Channel documentary.
Lupe, along with other notable entertainers, like Don Cheadle and Bruce Sprinsteen, teamed up with renowned historian-author-playwright Howard Zinn for a project based on Howard’s book, The People’s History of the United States.
Both the book and the documentary were inspired by activist Anthony Arnove’s novel, Voices of a People’s History.
The History Channel will debut the documentary on December 13 at 8 p.m. EST.
