Ron Clark Academy received an early Christmas present from Oprah.

The faculty, staff and students of the competitive private school in inner-city Atlanta received a special gift when Oprah donated $1.5 million to support the school's efforts in expanding their campus.
 
"I hope my gift will inspire others to join in to support RCA, a place that's not only uplifting students but also training teachers across the globe how to do the same for their students," she wrote in a statement.
 
Last year, Oprah dropped $360,000 on the school.
