Mary to perform at the Grammys
Mary J. Blige will take the stage with Andrea Bocelli for a special performance at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.
CBS has announced that the artists will be singing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” during a segment of the ceremony dedicated to raising money for the continued relief effort in Haiti. Following the Grammy broadcast on January 31, audio and video of the live performance will be available for download on iTunes.
Maxwell is also slated to perform at Sunday’s award ceremony, but there is no word on what he will be singing. Album of the Year nominees Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, the Dave Matthews Band and the Black Eyed Peas are set to perform at Grammys during the show as well.
To see what each of them will bring to the stage, watch the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards when it airs January 31 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
