Despite a slew of recent sightings with baseball player Matt Kemp, Rihanna said they’re not a couple.
 
“I’m still single, if that’s what you want to ask,” Rihanna told the host of 104.3’s "Valentine in the Morning" on Thursday. The radio personality had been skirting around the issue of her relationship status with Matt.
 
While Rihanna still claims she and Matt aren't an item, she did comment on their highly publicized romp in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. “It was a blast,” she said.

 
And the two were recently seen coupled up at a basketball game, but don’t expect to see Matt on Rihanna’s arm this weekend.
 
“I’m going to the Grammys alone, as always,” she revealed. “Even when I was in a relationship, I always have gone alone.”

 
Her appearance at last year’s ceremony was scrapped following her infamous fight with then-boyfriend Chris Brown. This year, she’s nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Run This Town.”
 
"This was actually the first piece of music we did since the last Grammys," she said. "It's exciting that it's nominated. We cannot wait. We hope we bring home the bacon, but if not, it's great that it was nominated."
