Norwoods get VH1 series

Ray J won’t be off of VH1 for long as he’s set to star in a show that focuses on his family.

The Kardashians better watch out because VH1 has announced that the Norwoods are getting a reality series of their own! “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business“ will follow Brandy and Ray J as momager Sonja Norwood passes the reigns of the family’s company, Rn’B Productions, to them. VH1 has ordered 11 hour-long episodes of the show.

Brandy and Ray J will definitely have their hands full as they try to grow the family business while advancing their own careers. Find out if they have it takes when “Brandy and Ray J: A Famliy Business” premieres April 11 at 9 p.m. EST on VH1.

This isn’t the first time that family has appeared on the network together. “For the Love of Ray J” featured several cameos by Brandy, Sonja and dad Willie Norwood as they helped Ray pick the right girl for him.

Season two of the dating show just ended with Ray choosing Mz. Berry as his woman. Platinum, the girl Ray dumped Monday night, was clearly devastated, sobbing that things with Mz. Berry “are not gonna work out.”

We’re not so sure about Platinum’s prediction though because Ray J announced on Twitter that this was the last season of “For the Love of Ray J.”
