Lil’ Wayne sees his impending prison term differently than most would expect.

 
Weezy F. Baby recently told Rolling Stone that he thinks his time behind bars won’t be like any other jailbird’s, so he’s not taking tips on how to survive his term.


 
"This is Lil’ Wayne going to jail,” he explained. “Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that's like. I just say I'm looking forward to it.”


 
Waxing philosophical, Wayne added, "I look at things as 'Everything is meant to be.' I know it's an experience that I need to have if God's putting me through it,

 
The rapper is scheduled to report for his yearlong prison stay on Tuesday. This is actually a reduced sentence for Wayne, who took a plea deal in his felony gun possession case.


 
He was arrested back in July of 2007 when police found a .40-caliber gun on his tour bus.
