Mo’Nique announces comedy tour
Oscar-nominated actress Mo’Nique is set to spread love and laughter on her upcoming comedy tour this spring.
Mo announced that she’ll hit the road for her Spread the Love Tour, starting this March. The comedian will share the stage with her right hand man Rodney Perry, who you might recognize from “The Mo’Nique Show,” and DJ Ant. Comedian Tone-X is set to serve as the tour’s man on the street.
“On this tour people can expect the kind of laughter that makes the bottom of their stomach hurt,” Mo'Nique said. “And the type of love you'll never forget."
The Spread the Love Tour will kick off March 19 at the Kiefer UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, the first of 20 cities on its route. Mo and her friends also have plans to hit up Washington D.C. (March 20), Chicago (May 15), Los Angeles (April 2) and New York’s Madison Square Garden (April 24).
Tickets go on sale February 19 through AEGlive.com and Ticketmaster.com, where you can also check out a complete list of tour dates.
