Bomb threat halts flight to San Francisco

A plane leaving Denver International Airport was forced to land in Utah due to a bomb threat.
 
According to TheDenverChannel.com, the bomb threat regarding Flight 741 from Denver to San Francisco was stated in a note found by a flight attendant. As a precaution, the 757 airplane, holding 193 passengers and six crewmembers, was diverted to Salt Lake City International Airport. It landed around 9:45 a.m.
 
Airport officials reported that FBI and airport police are on site, searching the plane and re-screening deplaned passengers. No injuries have been reported as of yet. 


 
The Department of Homeland Security is investigating the incident, but it doesn’t think that this was an act of terrorism.
