The official cast for this season of “Dancing With the Stars” won’t be announced until tonight, but one competitor may have been leaked.
 
According to TMZ.com, Chad Ochocinco will compete for the mirrrorball on ABC’s reality ballroom challenge. And several sources close to the show have pegged Chad as a contestant this season.
 
Chad would be the latest in a string of athletes to take a spin around the ballroom. Jerry Rice, Lawrence Taylor, Jason Taylor and Emmit Smith have all tried to take home the top prize, but fallen short of the goal.
 
A rep for ABC would neither confirm nor deny the reality draft pick, so we’ll have to wait until tonight for the official announcement. If there is any truth to the rumors, you know you can keep up with Chad’s progress on our “Dancing With the Stars” blog.
