Taraji takes off for love

Taraji P. Henson may soon be on the lookout for the love of her life in her next movie role.

According to
Black Voices the Oscar-nominated actress is in talks to star in Baggage Claim, written by David E. Talbert. The film, to be released by Fox Searchlight, will be based on his 2005 novel about a single Black woman hunting for a husband.

Taraji would be playing first-class flight attendant Montana Moore, who has become tired of being a single lady (it's not nearly as much fun as Beyoncé makes it seem). In an attempt to find Mr. Right, and burn through her stock of 30,000 miles, Montana tours the country to locate an acceptable suitor in 30 days. That should give her just enough time to show up to her little sister’s engagement party with a ring of her own.

While Montana usually lumps men into categories, like Overnight Bag kind of man, Briefcase man and Trunk kind of man, her search turns up several interested and eligible bachelors.

The film is in good hands with David as he also penned and directed the gospel comedy First Sunday, starring Ice Cube, Tracy Morgan and Katt Williams.
