ABC announces ‘DWTS’ lineup
ABC has finally revealed the full cast lineup, including Niecy Nash, for this season of “Dancing With The Stars"!

ABC has finally revealed the full cast lineup for this season of “Dancing With The Stars”!
The cast list was announced right after the season finale of “The Bachelor” on Monday night. There have been a battery of leaks and speculations on the field of competitors vying for the mirrorball trophy—some rumors even had Paula Abdul taking to the dance floor.
Sadly, Paula won’t be cutting a rug this season, but “Clean House” host Niecy Nash and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger will! They’ll be joined by Kate Gosselin, who you might recognize from TLC’s “John and Kate Plus 8” (or whatever it will be called next season). ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews is also set to join the mix.
As reported Chad Ochocinco will also be shaking his tail feathers, joining an elite fraternity of NFL stars that have tried for #1 on “Dancing With the Stars.” He won’t be the only athlete, though, as Ice Skating Gold medalist Evan Lysacek has also been added to ABC’s dance card.
Rounding out the cast will be “Baywatch” beauty Pamela Anderson and actress Shannon Doherty of “Beverly Hills 90210” fame.
This is definitely an interesting, if unexpected, mix of competitors, but we know they’ll be fun to watch nonetheless. Ah, we can already hear that swing-tinged theme from “Dancing With the Stars” playing, and we’re getting visions of Niecy’s signature flower fluttering across the screen.
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long to see them in action because the new season of “Dancing With the Stars” premieres March 22 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
