The White House is revealing the design for its 2010 Easter egg.
 
The annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House is just a month away, and the people’s house is already busy decorating souvenir eggs.


 
Like the 2009 version, the eggs are eco-friendly since they’re made of Sustainability Forest Initiative (SFI) – certified paperboard, which uses no wood from endangered forests. The eggs are also decorated using vegetable oil-based ink, and they’re sealed with a water-based coating.
 
This year, the White House is giving everyone a wider selection of souvenirs to choose from. The vibrantly colored eggs come in fourcolor combinations: green and pink, yellow and purple, pink and yellow, and purple and green.



 
And all the eggs are emblazoned with a running Easter bunny, reminding everyone of the theme for this year’s Easter Egg Roll, Ready, Set, Go! The White House aims to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle for kids with this event, slated for April 5.
