Barack fills out his brackets
Sure he’s busy fixing health care and the economy, but President Barack Obama is making time to prep for March Madness.
According to Rivals.com, Barack will fill out his brackets, which will be officially unveiled at today on “Sport Center.” We’re curious to see how he thinks the tournaments will go, but it’s been leaked that he thinks Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky and Villanova will all make it to the Final Four.
And he thinks that Connecticut, Notre Dame, Stanford and Tennessee will be the four women’s teams battling it out for the national college championship.
Andy Katz will help the president fill out his men’s brackets, but Barack may not need a lot of help there. Last year he predicted that North Carolina would win it all, and he was right.
“After spending a few minutes with President Obama at the White House, it was evident he has clearly paid attention to college basketball this season,” said Andy. ”While I know he didn’t have time to watch ESPNU when I talked to all 65 Tournament coaches Monday, he was aware of injuries, star players and key matchups in evaluating the top teams in the field.”
In case you don’t catch “Sports Center” today, the president's clips will be available for viewing on ESPN.com and ESPN Mobile.
