HBO is about to sink its teeth into another season of its hit vampire drama.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the third season of “True Blood” will kick off June 13. Series creator Alan Ball has big things in store for fans with the addition of several new cast members, including Alfre Woodard as LaFayette’s mama!
Of course, as we’ve seen in the Twilight saga, where there are vampires, werewolves can’t be far behind. Alan is bringing in Joe Manganiello to play a werewolf named Alcide. There’s also word that Tara Thornton (played by Rutina Wesley) may be getting a fanged friend of her own.
Aside from all the new blood on “True Blood,” we’re anxious to see what happened with Bon Temps’ resident bloodsucker Bill Compton, who was kidnapped in the last season finale.
It’s a long time until June, so you have plenty of time to catch up on what happened in season two with our True Blood Blog.
