Monica is taking a good look at her reflection and loving what she sees in her newest single, “Mirror.”


 
In the third release from Still Standing, Monica sings about her life finally being complete now that she’s found the right man. “Mirror,” produced  by Jim Jonsin, lays all that love over a slower, darker track that we’d usually hear with a song about heartbreak. Somehow, it all fits together just fine in this single. 


 
“Mirror” comes out just five days before Monica drops her new album, Still Standing, on March 23.  Give the single a listen below.


 





 
While we love this track, the timing seems to be a little ironic as the Atlanta singer just broke up with her long-time fiancé Rocko.  Neither of them have explained the cause of the split, but there is speculation that Rocko may have cheated on Monica.
 
She won’t confirm the rumors, but Monica did release a statement on Twitter thanking fans for their support.

 “@Rocko4Realis a great father and we will continue to love and parent our children,” she tweeted. “The Rest is a private matter between @Rocko4Real and I. He is a good person. We all make mistakes.”
