Carmelo Anthony is in damage control mode after some explosive comments were posted to his Twitter page.
 
On Saturday night, a person posing as the newly married NBA player put a bounty on infamous hip-hop groupie Kat Stacks, tweeting, “I got 5k for whoever see @ihatekatstacks and slap the [sh*t] out her pigeon face [a*s]…When u do it record it and sent it to me along with name and address.”
 
But before anyone could get too excited, the comments were yanked from his page. The athlete had to explain his curious comments, which seemed to be unprovoked. It seems he was the latest victim of a ghost tweeter. 
 
“Im back on! My account was hacked. Thanks twitter for getting me str8,” Carmelo tweeted Sunday morning. “[Just] finished my first movie in China now im headed back to the States.”
 
There’s no word on what project he’s working on.
