S2S has just learned that Paula Patton is just about to begin her three-month training regimen for the next installment of the Mission Impossible franchise. She’ll be playing Tom Cruise’s love interest in the as-yet untitled action flick.

 
Paula’s training for the film, which has a $40 million budget, starts just as she’s been written in as a major role on “Law & Order: SVU.” According to NBC, she’ll be playing an assistant district attorney.

 
There’s no word yet on how her schedule for either job will affect the other. We’re sure, however, that the new mom will be able to juggle her work and still find time for hubby Robin Thicke and their baby Julian Fuego.
