Kimora and Djimon committed in ceremony
Kimora Lee Simmons and her beau, Djimon Honsou, are officially committed!
There were no wedding bells or a big white dress, but the couple had a commitment ceremony last summer in Benin, Africa while they were visiting his family. A source told Usmagazine.com that Kimora and Djimon "did it to show how committed to each other they are in front of his family."
Her daughters were also on hand for the event. "Ming Lee and Aoki call Djimon 'baba,' which means a father figure in certain cultures. They all live as one happy family together," the source said.
Kimora and Djimon had their motherland swag going as they put on African garb for the traditional ceremony.
This news comes weeks after Kimora’s divorce from hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons was finalized. "Russell respects Djimon and they get along great. He is very happy for her," said the source.
This big, happy family will be welcoming one more member soon as Kimora and Djimon are expecting their first child.
Now that they’re committed, do we call them Djimora or Kimon?
