Diddy and Dawn working on Danity Kane do-over?
Melody Thornton of the Pussycat Dolls just couldn’t keep it to herself: Diddy’s trying to form another group with Dawn Richard.
"I know that Dawn is actually working with Puffy — and I probably shouldn't say it — and another girl, and they're going to do a group," Melody said during an interview with MTV News.
Dawn is a member of the now-defunct Danity Kane and she wouldn’t be the first to join the DK diaspora. Aubrey O’Day is rumored to be going solo, but there is some confusion over which label she’s signing with. Meanwhile, D. Woods has been trying to start her solo career by releasing music on the Internet.
According to MTV News, Dawn’s management kept quiet about whether there’s any truth to Melody’s claims. "At the present, we are not able to offer any comment on the matter” they said.
There’s no word on whether the other girl that Diddy’ working with is fellow DK member Aundrea Fimbres.
For now, you can catch Dawn and Aundrea on this season of MTV’s “Making The Band 4” which airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. EST.
