Mary J. Blige might be up for an Oscar and Grammy next year!

MJB, one of our favorite grown women, has just signed on to star in Tyler Perry's forthcoming film, I Can Do Bad All by Myself, Variety.com reports. 

The movie is based on Tyler's play by the same title, and it will be released through Lionsgate on Septmeber 11. I Can Do Bad All by Myself will be filmed at Tyler's studios in Atlanta.

Mary will be playing a singer and nightclub manager, who also happens to be BFFs with Taraji P. Henson's character. Hopefully, she'll be blessing the movie with her fierce vocals. 

Madea will also be popping up in the movie, so you know it's going to be another box office smash.
