Method Man and Redman to release ‘Blackout 2’
Good news for all you hip-hop heads: Method Man and Redman are finally releasing another album together.
Meth and Red are drop-ping Blackout 2 on April 28. It’s the follow up to their 1999 platinum Blackout album.
Ten years is a long time to wait for CD, but from the roster of talent they lined up this time around, Blackout 2 should be well worth it.
“A-Yo,” produced by Pete Rock, is the first single off the album. Meth and Red got a little help on “Miss International” from Eric Sermon, who is featured on the song. Buckwild was at the controls for that track.
Bun B and Rockwilda also blessed Blackout 2 with a little of their swag.
We’re sure that fans will be ripping the album off the shelves as fast as stores can stock it.
