Spring sandals for under $50
Sandals are one of Earth's most divine creations; why else would Jesus rock them? And since the onset of a new season brings new styles, we've selected five of our favorites (all under 50 bucks!) for your consideration.
The gladiator: Gladiator sandals are humongously popular not just because of their vintage, Roman empire feel, but because they also provide lots of coverage for your feet and a sturdy sole. ($40, Piperlime.com)

The flat: It looks like a sophisticated flat, but is actually a sandal. Cute details, like an ankle strap and a yellow, faux snakeskin print, elevate the shoe. (About $40, Endless.com)
The thong: They've been around for centuries for a reason: thong sandals are universally flattering. Electric blue color and ruched top also make this sandal edgy, yet versatile. ($49.95, SteveMadden.com)

The cuff: Ever since we spotted Rihanna making her way through an airport with sandal-boots, we've been obsessed with finding a cheaper version of them. This cuff shoe captures the essence of a sandal that completely covers the ankle region. ($44.50, Delias.com)
The platform: This shoe's tall, chunky heel (read: easier to wear than skinny stilettos) and modern shape make it an instant classic. For less $30 you'll get a relatively comfortable shoe that you can wear with anything. ($29.99, CharlotteRusse.com)
Buy a couple of pairs of these sandals and you'll still have money left over for the pedicure.
